Anugerah Dikir 2011

THE SINGAPORE DIKIR BARAT ASSOCIATION (Gabungan Dikir Barat Singapura) will be holding an award show called the Anugerah Dikir 2011 this coming Saturday, 12th November 2011, at the NTU Alumni Club @ One-North. It has been more than 5 years since this award show has been held and Keris Movements are honored and humbled to have been invited for the event and nominated for 8 of the 16 categories of awards. Jendela

In celebration of Orkestra Melayu Singapura (OMS) 20th Anniversary, Esplanade Presents will be having a musical program called Jendela this Sunday, 16th October 2011, at the Esplanade Concert Hall. The concert will include performances from OMS which features members from Keris Movements, Said Alkatiri and Aidil Akmal.

Secawan Kopi

We delve into the secret world of the Malay frame drums (kompang) with an experienced activist, Hadi. We've seen quite a fair share of dikir baratists playing in local kompang competitions as well so we thought this session would be timely.
